Car rental terms at X-RENT

Driver requirements and documents

Rentals are available from age 18. Minimum driving experience: economy — 6 months, comfort — 1 year, premium — 2 years. Confirm your chosen car’s category and driver eligibility when arranging the rental.

A passport and driving licence are required. Foreign citizens need translated documents; confirm the required translation format in advance. Additional drivers must be agreed separately. Do not send document photos through the website enquiry form.

For a reservation, a staff member needs photographs of your passport and driving licence. Before sending them, agree on the messaging channel and document handling arrangements with the staff member. The website enquiry form does not accept document photographs.

Payment and deposit

No advance payment is required. Payment is available in cash, by card or bank transfer.

For drivers aged 21 or over with at least 3 years of driving experience, the deposit equals one day’s rental. Otherwise it is agreed individually. The deposit is paid in cash or by card and returned when the car is handed back. Confirm the exact amount for your car before collection.

Mileage and permitted territory

The rental includes 350 km per day. Cars may be used only within Belarus.

The company’s stated excess mileage rate is USD 0.10 per kilometre. Confirm the settlement currency and the exchange rate into BYN in advance.

Insurance

Comprehensive vehicle insurance (KASKO) is included. Confirm the cover, excess, exclusions, driver liability and procedures for damage, breakdowns or accidents before signing the rental agreement.

Collection and return

Collection and return: 4 Kalvariyskaya Street, Minsk, 10:00–20:00. Delivery and service outside these hours are available by arrangement at an individually agreed price.

At collection, inspect the car with a staff member and record its condition on video. Return it in the same condition and with the same fuel level. Extra fuel is not reimbursed. You may pay for washing instead of washing it yourself; confirm the charge.

Returns up to 2 hours late incur no penalty; longer delays are charged as another rental day. Arrange airport collection or delivery in advance.

Changes and cancellation

Cancellation is free of penalties until 1 hour before collection. Confirm the terms for later cancellation or no-show when arranging the rental.

Extensions, early return and any price adjustment must be agreed with the company. Sending a website enquiry does not confirm a booking.

See the current rates on the individual car page. Do not apply one car’s rate to another or treat a short-term daily rate as a monthly offer.

Provide your actual travel dates. Collection in Minsk, at the airport or by delivery must be agreed before renting.

Personal data processing policy

The personal data controller is Fokolor LLC, Tax ID 193281700. Address: 4 Kalvariyskaya Street, Minsk, 220004, Republic of Belarus.

We process the name, phone number, email address, trip details and messages you provide to respond to enquiries, help you choose a car, agree rental terms and operate your account. The information collected depends on the form you complete. Processing includes collecting, storing, updating, using and deleting data by automated and non-automated means.

Data submitted through website forms is processed with your consent. You may contact us by phone if you prefer not to submit information online. We cannot respond to an online enquiry without the necessary contact details.

Customer profiles, documents and linked requests are retained, including after account closure and archiving. Closing an account ends access but does not erase data; contact the operator about data deletion. Requests without an account are retained for 30 days.

You may withdraw consent, obtain information about processing and disclosure of your data to third parties, request corrections and, where no lawful grounds for further processing exist, request that processing stop and data be deleted. You may also complain to the National Personal Data Protection Centre of the Republic of Belarus.

To exercise your rights, send an application to Fokolor LLC at the address above in accordance with Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 99-Z of 7 May 2021 on Personal Data Protection. Consent may also be withdrawn in the form in which it was given. You can close account access without erasing data under Sign-in and security.
